TAI20 Reflections lead to creating tools to increase engagement and achievement.
Another great lockdown development. As part of School Talk, in every reading level 'word attack' and 'word knowledge' progressions is consistently a large focus on learning how to read. After many reflections on my inquiry to increase oral language capability to improve writing. This lockdown has made me reflect on how an Inquiry not only is something you are trying to improve but about a noticing of what else is creating a barrier to student achievement. By creating this resource for the different progressions I believe that this can act as a tool to support student agency, support Teacher Aides and teachers with a tool to work alongside our learners that they regularly may support wth giving then an extra dose and density of learning. It is has been fun to rediscover the power of our digital tools to enhance learning.
